Several people there blindly go through the crisis and the company overall is right there with them.

In terms of changing; I'm on the fence on that one. Took a large plunge a few years ago but haven't made it work out well yet. Still working in companies; getting better work but not completely sustainable. Trying to stay true and continue to evolve.

Only time will tell...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29666526.post-18853175544926389012008-02-10T07:19:00.000-05:002008-02-10T07:19:00.000-05:00At age 53 I do exactly as you do. The onl "problem" is I have been doing that quite more frequently.

I had a successful (and boring and stressful) carreer as a lawyer in Brazil. And then I quit when I was about to turn 37 to dedicate myself fulltime to the sidebusiness (a Franchise consulting firm) I had started a few years before. And I have the feeling that I have never worked one single day since then: what I do is so much fun and I love it so much that it simply doesn't feel like work at all.

I could well afford one or more sports cars. But who needs them? As for a trophy wife, I've had one of those for over 22 years now. And she gets better everyday. So who needs a new one?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. And for letting me know there are more people who think and behave the same way I do.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
